Weather preferences, at a glance
Before you head out
These are land-based weather forecasts and personal comfort preferences. Check the marine forecast for waves, gusts, visibility and advisories. High tide does not mean slack current or sufficient clearance.
How the boating windows work
We select the longest stretch of at least two consecutive forecast hours within your preferences, entirely between sunrise and sunset. Thunderstorms, fog and wintry weather rule out a preferred hour. Tides are shown separately. Missing information is never treated as calm wind or a zero chance of rain. Ratings do not include wave height or wind gusts.
